Encryption Regulation Changes Wednesday, September 15, 2010 6:00-8:00 pm SAP Headquarters, Palo Alto

As everyone is acutely aware, BIS has announced changes to the encryption regulations impacting ancillary encryption items, registration, reporting, and other areas of the law. The September event will feature Dan Fisher-Owens from Berliner, Corcoran & Rowe LLP as our encryption expert providing an overview of and practical guidance on these changes.

Mr. Fisher-Owens will review the latest on:

• Which encryption items still require prior classification review
• New Encryption Registration Number system
• Changes to reporting requirements
• New Note 4 (formerly Ancillary) decontrols
• News from the BIS Update Encryption workshop
